TickerNotch turns the unused black bars next to your MacBook notch into a live market strip. Stock and crypto prices update in real time, and a scrolling news line shows headlines from any RSS feeds you add. Click a ticker to open a candlestick chart window with built-in indicators (RSI, MACD, Bollinger and more). Set percent-move or price-cross alerts and get native macOS notifications. Enter a quantity and entry price for a position and the notch shows your live dollar P&L.

It is a native Swift and SwiftUI app, not Electron. The download is a 6.5MB DMG, signed and notarized with an Apple Developer ID, with Sparkle auto-updates. There is no account and no vendor server in the data path. On Macs without a notch or on external displays it draws a simulated island.

The 7-day trial includes everything. After that it stays free forever with 1 ticker, 1 news channel, and 1 alert. Pro is $5 per month or $40 lifetime, purchased on the website. Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
